Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Lilcho Chohadzhiev stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Axel Tasis's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. 4 minutes into the match, DARAS's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Tasis came free, but Lilcho Chohadzhiev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lilcho Chohadzhiev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Puig in the 6th minute of the match. Axel Tasis struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Lilcho Chohadzhiev didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Costa Rica. Lilcho Chohadzhiev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Tasis in the 14th minute of play. In the 20th minute Costa Rica were awarded a corner. Axel Tasis went to the cornerflag to take it. After 21 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Juan Rubio. DARAS's Lilcho Chohadzhiev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Tasis in the 25th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Lautaro Puig had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lilcho Chohadzhiev. DARAS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lautaro Puig was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Lautaro Puig struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Lilcho Chohadzhiev didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Costa Rica. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Tasis in the 32nd minute of play forced DARAS's goalkeeper Lilcho Chohadzhiev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 33 minutes into the game, Costa Rica's Lautaro Puig nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lilcho Chohadzhiev made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Matey Trashliev's late challenge caught a Costa Rica's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Matey Trashliev helped the player get up and apologised. In the 39th minute, Matey Trashliev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lautaro Puig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The DARAS players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Costa Rica were winning 0-2.

Eliseo Noboa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Lilcho Chohadzhiev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. DARAS's Grisha Dragulev quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Efrain Moruga, made in the 62nd minute of the game. A throw-in in the 84th minute of the game was made by Hugo Ferrant with Lautaro Puig as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Axel Tasis took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lilcho Chohadzhiev. Lilcho Chohadzhiev dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Lautaro Puig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Costa Rica's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
