Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. A collision led to 【¡Hālā Μāđяιđ CF!】 getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Samuca das Neves hit a great ball. If Lei Lin Kun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute Lei Lin Kun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd minute of the match 【¡Hālā Μāđяιđ CF!】 got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lei Lin Kun ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led 【¡Hālā Μāđяιđ CF!】's Lei Lin Kun to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 34th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomás Costa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Thomás Costa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the 【¡Hālā Μāđяιđ CF!】 defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thomás Costa. The 【¡Hālā Μāđяιđ CF!】 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thomás Costa should have stopped the shot. Dobromir Huk could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lei Lin Kun to strike the kick off in the second half. Dobromir Huk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Lei Lin Kun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Lei Lin Kun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 59th minute, Dobromir Huk left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The 【¡Hālā Μāđяιđ CF!】 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Lei Lin Kun's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Thomás Costa in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 68 minutes into the match, 【¡Hālā Μāđяιđ CF!】's goalkeeper Thomás Costa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. In the 69th minute of the match Lei Lin Kun sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Vera skillfully saved the ball. In the 71st match minute, 【¡Hālā Μāđяιđ CF!】 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuca das Neves to maneuver through the defense. 【¡Hālā Μāđяιđ CF!】's Frank Freire was substituted for Lei Lin Kun. 【¡Hālā Μāđяιđ CF!】's Róbson Miranda was substituted for Samuca das Neves. After a rather tough play, 【¡Hālā Μāđяιđ CF!】's Samuca das Neves got a free kick in the 73rd minute. The supporters of Ecuador booed when 【¡Hālā Μāđяιđ CF!】 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Róbson Miranda didn't get a good kick on the ball. But to his dismay, Dobromir Huk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frank Freire in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Freire, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Frank Freire took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Frank Freire kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Frank Freire went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. The 【¡Hālā Μāđяιđ CF!】 players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
