Zheng Zhen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 13th minute of the match. Julio Vera was out of position in the 16 minute of play, and Emanuel Hârșu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Emanuel Hârșu really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. When Leeton United FC's Emanuel Hârșu in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 40th minute of play forced Leeton United FC's goalkeeper Zheng Zhen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 42 played minutes Leeton United FC got a freekick which was hit by Sansan Alatas. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zheng Zhen having to interfere. 胡森平 struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Leeton United FC. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emanuel Hârșu in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. 54 minutes into the match, Leeton United FC's goalkeeper Zheng Zhen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. 唐奕笑 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Hârșu in the 60th minute of play. In the 63rd minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Zheng Zhen was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Zheng Zhen made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Felix Montenegro sent off a good shot on target. In the 74th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Leeton United FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. When Emanuel Hârșu came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Leeton United FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emanuel Hârșu couldn't finish the play. In the 81stth minute of the game 唐奕笑 who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 83 minutes into the game, Leeton United FC's Emanuel Hârșu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Leeton United FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. 唐奕笑 didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zheng Zhen was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Daniel Zorita showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-1 in the 94 minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, Leeton United FC could leave the field as winners, despite Ecuador having more of the ball for most of the match.
