Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Julian Murillo started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd minute of the match, Alfonso Cordeara got a very nice opportunity to score, but Rolando Noboa was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 4th minute Milagros Fraga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pipis Culot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rolando Noboa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sidney Joannes went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Pipis Culot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 11th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the match, Municipales FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Mina came free, but Pipis Culot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Municipales FC defense, Eliseo Mina kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pipis Culot. The Municipales FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pipis Culot should have stopped the shot. Pipis Culot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute, Lin Wen Shi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 29th minute Peru were awarded a corner. Luz Tejedor went to the cornerflag to take it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sidney Joannes in the 32nd minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Municipales FC's Pipis Culot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 34th minute of play. Pipis Culot came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Peru's Julian Murillo. But to his dismay, Julian Murillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Pipis Culot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 40th minute of play. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

51 minutes into the game, Alonso Berganza threw the ball into play from the sideline. Municipales FC's Isidoro Truylos quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Municipales FC made a substitution. Aureliano Heriberto replaced Lin Wen Shi. Patricio Lluterio got a throw-in 58 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Angelito Di Maria. Borja Iglesias might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rolando Noboa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Borja Iglesias ran back to his position shaking his head. Municipales FC's attentive Patricio Lluterio managed to snatch the ball when Alonso Berganza made a throw-in in the 67th minute of the game. In the 76th of the match, Eliseo Mina tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Pipis Culot got in the way and made a wonderful save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 79th minute of play forced Municipales FC's goalkeeper Pipis Culot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81st minute, one of Peru:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Peru. Antonio Tenorio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pipis Culot read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. Emmanuel Reyes made a great header on Peru's corner, it was just that Municipales FC's Pipis Culot managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pipis Culot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseo Alcocer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Peru players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
