Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 5th minute, DyJ Campeón Sudamericana's Joaquin George dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. 8 minutes into the match, Luis Andino notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of DyJ Campeón Sudamericana's Conrado Milio. Conrado Milio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Felix Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Felix Montenegro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Conrado Milio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joaquin George in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquin George in the 30th minute of the match. After some careless play in the DyJ Campeón Sudamericana defense, Cristian Sancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Conrado Milio. The DyJ Campeón Sudamericana fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Conrado Milio should have stopped the shot. If Joaquin George had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 43 minutes, Joaquin George mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the DyJ Campeón Sudamericana and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 43rd match minute, DyJ Campeón Sudamericana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquin George to maneuver through the defense. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joaquin George to strike the kick off in the second half. Joaquin George sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Agustín Saelices kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximo Ishmael in the 55th minute of play. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Felix Montenegro hit a great ball. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Conrado Milio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, DyJ Campeón Sudamericana's Anastasio Pagomari got a free kick in the 65th minute. A hard shot by Daniel Zorita from long distance, 66 minutes into the match, got Conrado Milio's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Conrado Milio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. 75 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Conrado Milio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. DyJ Campeón Sudamericana made a substitution. Arturo Kelemen replaced Joaquin George. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind DyJ Campeón Sudamericana's goalkeeper Conrado Milio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conrado Milio having to interfere. DyJ Campeón Sudamericana's Abel Berdaitz was substituted for Olle Skott. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than DyJ Campeón Sudamericana throughout the match.
