Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tomas Illescas started the match with the kick off. Jonathan Ferrant was a little too slow when Amador Ebardo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 4th minute. The score was now 1-0. Niccolo Broich took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 12 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. In the 25th minute, Lino Atarratze hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 26 minutes, Joshua Secada managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joshua Secada was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sebastian Estebano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amador Ebardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 43 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Venegas.

The wind increased when Lino Atarratze made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lino Atarratze in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lino Atarratze in the 66th minute of play. Niccolo Broich made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 79th minute. 80 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Lino Atarratze came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Anastasio Madaleno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Anastasio Madaleno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 90 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Lino Atarratze came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lino Atarratze, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. In the 91st minute, Lino Atarratze ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Lino Atarratze fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Illescas in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Niccolo Broich prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Cogollo Infinito fc fans cheered their team off the field, for while Venezuela had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
