Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Vivaldo Fernandes got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vivaldo Fernandes in the 6th minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joaquin Gayoso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vivaldo Fernandes's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. If Francisco Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When GynBsb's Fellipe Cosme in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Uruguay's goalie prevented a goal. Fellipe Cosme recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Uruguay's Alberto Gisbert quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Andrézinho Goiano, made in the 21st minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Seco in the 22nd minute of play forced GynBsb's goalkeeper Frederico Bertassi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 22 minutes into the game, Uruguay's Francisco Seco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Frederico Bertassi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fellipe Cosme in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joaquin Gayoso saved Uruguay from getting behind. GynBsb's Fellipe Cosme got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 32nd minute of the match Uruguay got a corner. GynBsb's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jaime Cazalla ran over to the corner to take the kick. When GynBsb's Fellipe Cosme in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Uruguay's goalie prevented a goal. After 38 played minutes GynBsb got a freekick which was hit by Tiso Posse. Joaquin Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fellipe Cosme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th match minute, Uruguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximiliano Escribano to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Francisco Seco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Maximiliano Escribano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Frederico Bertassi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 53rd match minute, GynBsb was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dráusio de Andrade to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in GynBsb's zone, Jaime Cazalla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frederico Bertassi came out of the goal and Jaime Cazalla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joaquin Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vivaldo Fernandes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 63 minutes into the match, Uruguay's Francisco Seco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Frederico Bertassi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Uruguay's Maximiliano Escribano got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 71st minute of the match GynBsb got a corner. Uruguay's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Filipe Brito ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Uruguay's goalie and right to Tiso Posse. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Uruguay's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Andrézinho Goiano kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. The supporters of GynBsb booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximiliano Escribano didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 80 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Covarrubias. In the 80th minute, Alberto Gisbert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fellipe Cosme spun around in front of the goal 84 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Uruguay's goal. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Uruguay's Francisco Seco got a free kick in the 88th minute. 90 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Vivaldo Fernandes came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Francisco Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
