Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Zorita kicked off to start the match. In the 8thth minute of the game Daniel Zorita who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 1947 FC's Marcelino Nuxila was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcelino Nuxila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 20th minute of play. Huang Bing Ran might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Huang Bing Ran ran back to his position shaking his head. Marcelino Nuxila showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 1947 FC's Marcelino Nuxila played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 39th minute of play. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Marcelino Nuxila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 45th minute of play forced 1947 FC's goalkeeper Marcelino Nuxila to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Goren Baños, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Goren Baños was the one to do the kick off. Marcelino Nuxila showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. After a rather tough play, 1947 FC's Goren Baños got a free kick in the 74th minute. 1947 FC's Americo Artal was substituted for Gustavo-Hernán Vallejo. After 75 played minutes 1947 FC got a freekick which was hit by Goren Baños. In the 76th minute, Cristian Sancho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelino Nuxila having to interfere. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Americo Artal in the 81st minute of play. Marcelino Nuxila was out of position in the 82 minute of play, and Daniel Zorita capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Daniel Zorita really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. 1947 FC's Xande Hwang was substituted for Melchor Xacintu. Ariel Bonachea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 88th minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ariel Bonachea's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. Ecuador were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
