Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Arturo Ranolfo got the match started through his kick off. Arturo Ranolfo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yao Guang Chao took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristian Sancho scored 0-1 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yao Guang Chao, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 13 minutes into the game, Primitivo Andino threw the ball into play from the sideline. Yaji FC's Delmar Tavio quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 20 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arturo Ranolfo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustín Saelices in the 22nd minute of play forced Yaji FC's goalkeeper Yao Guang Chao to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Agustín Saelices took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Yao Guang Chao. Yao Guang Chao dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Zorita in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yao Guang Chao prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Yao Guang Chao showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by Yaji FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Yaji FC's Yao Guang Chao played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 34th minute of play. In the 35th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Yaji FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 35th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Sebastián Puig to maneuver through the defense. In the 35th minute, Juan Sebastián Puig fired away an extremely well hit free kick, but unfortunately the ball went just outside to the right hand side of Yao Guang Chao. Yao Guang Chao showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustín Saelices in the 38th minute of the match. In the 43rd minute, Pascual Pes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

In the 59th minute Arturo Ranolfo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yao Guang Chao narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Yaji FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pascual Pes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arturo Ranolfo in the 63rd minute of play. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. Yaji FC's Danilo Christobal was substituted for Justino Lehoi. In the 68th minute of the match Yaji FC got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ladislao Tximitx ran over to the corner to take the kick. Yaji FC's Ladislao Tximitx was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Julio Vera in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in Yaji FC's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yao Guang Chao came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 76 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Kryspin Ziemba came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 77 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ladislao Tximitx who took care of the corner kick. Yaji FC's Kryspin Ziemba was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Julio Vera in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kryspin Ziemba in the 85th minute of play. After 86 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ladislao Tximitx who took care of the corner kick. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kryspin Ziemba's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
