An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacques Huysmans in the 3rd minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Honduras's defense didn't have a chance, in the 6th minute, when Ximenes Castilla scored to the left of an out of position Lautaro Navarro, making the score, 1-0. Milagros Cabal hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Emanuel Ocampo was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 13 minutes into the match. In the 13th minute, one of Honduras:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Honduras. Eladio Ruidiaz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Lautaro Navarro made a huge save. Honduras's Luca Espinar managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Chiquinho das Neves in the 20 minute of the game. Ximenes Castilla struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Lautaro Navarro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bucare EFD. With a little luck, Honduras's Lautaro Navarro got control of the ball when Ximenes Castilla tried to sneak it across the goal line. 31 minutes into the game, Ximenes Castilla lined in a short shot 3-0 behind a frustrated Lautaro Navarro. Sebastian Villa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Ramon Wright tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 37th minute, Eladio Ruidiaz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bucare EFD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oskitz Moncada in the 39th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Bucare EFD's Ximenes Castilla slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lautaro Navarro. That made the score 5-0 after 44 minutes of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Bucare EFD made a substitution. Erik Carlsson replaced Ximenes Castilla. If Sebastian Villa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lautaro Navarro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Erik Carlsson's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Erik Carlsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lautaro Navarro having to interfere. In the 57th minute, Erik Carlsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lautaro Navarro was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Edmundo Espiga hit a great ball. Bucare EFD's Natã Kut was substituted for Eladio Ruidiaz. In the 68th minute Erik Carlsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Natã Kut came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erik Carlsson in the 87th minute of the match. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erik Carlsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Luca Espinar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 95 minutes in the game Chiquinho das Neves did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Tobias Beremundo. 97 minutes into the match, Natã Kut notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of Honduras's Lautaro Navarro. Lautaro Navarro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Bucare EFD had won after a very even match.
