Fazendinha's Maximino Acevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 11th minute of play. Maximino Acevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 16th minute of play. In the 17th minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Macos Graciani almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Fazendinha's Maximino Acevedo did a great save. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 18th minute. A nice corner shot did that Macos Graciani got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Maximino Acevedo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Maximino Acevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 20th minute of play. Fazendinha's Maximino Acevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 24th minute of play. In the 27thth minute of the game Joel Gaona who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fazendinha's Maximino Acevedo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arturo Bondi in the 29th minute of play. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arturo Bondi in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 39th minute, Luiz Guilherme Melo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dante Lacasa. The goal made the score 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joel Gaona was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 52nd minute of play forced Fazendinha's goalkeeper Maximino Acevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 55th minute, Joel Gaona reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Maximino Acevedo. The goal made the score 1-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Mexico's Luca Zorita slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Maximino Acevedo. That made the score 1-3 after 60 minutes of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Lorenzo Cazalla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Lorenzo Cazalla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maximino Acevedo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fazendinha's Maximino Acevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 65th minute of play. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristóvão de Barros in the 68th minute of play. Maximino Acevedo came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Joel Gaona. But to his dismay, Joel Gaona quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. In the 77th match minute, Fazendinha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Guilherme Melo to maneuver through the defense. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arturo Bondi, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Mexico were furious when Felix Luque was red carded, 85 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 84th minute of the game. One of Mexico:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Fazendinha:s goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luiz Guilherme Melo in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dante Lacasa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 88th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximino Acevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 91st minute Cristóvão de Barros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 91st match minute, Fazendinha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alf Håning to maneuver through the defense. Luca Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maximino Acevedo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. Maximino Acevedo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 95th minute. The Fazendinha supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Mexico's performance. The match ended with a win for Mexico.
