In the 3rd minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvano Portillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Saturnino Romo in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rolando Noboa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Silvano Portillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Milagros Fraga in the 13th minute of the match. Silvano Portillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseo Mina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 24 minutes into the match, ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Silvano Portillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Silvano Portillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luz Tejedor in the 27th minute of play. Silvano Portillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 32nd minute of play. Peru's attentive Eliseo Mina managed to snatch the ball when Enrique Aureo made a throw-in in the 37th minute of the game. Silvano Portillo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Julian Murillo's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. 45 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Silvano Portillo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 45th minute, Mats Liljeström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Saturnino Romo made the kick off in the second half. Silvano Portillo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Julian Murillo in the 54th minute. In the 70th minute, Renatinho Diamant hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ made a substitution. Ezequiel Lavezzi replaced Mats Liljeström. After a rather tough play, ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Renatinho Diamant got a free kick in the 71st minute. Ezequiel Lavezzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Rolando Noboa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerzy Marchefka in the 81st minute of the match. In the 83rdth minute of the game Jerzy Marchefka who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Peru's Rolando Noboa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. In the 85th minute of the match ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ got a corner. Peru's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tobias Xacintu ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Tobias Xacintu to fire away a dangerous shot which Rolando Noboa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Tobias Xacintu succeeded in the game's 86th minute to get real power on a long shot . Peru's Rolando Noboa hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 1-1! ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Silvano Portillo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ from getting a goal against them. After 92 minutes ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Eliseo Mina who took care of the corner kick. Peru's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
