Emmanuel Bardel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 14th minute Castel Areces shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Felix Montenegro in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emmanuel Bardel saved Xspark Academy from getting behind. Castel Areces recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 34 minutes, Felix Montenegro made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Xspark Academy's Emmanuel Bardel tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Luizão Mendonça hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 42nd minute, Castel Areces hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Agustín Saelices hit a great ball. 47 minutes into the match, Xspark Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Emmanuel Bardel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Xspark Academy players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Castel Areces was the one to do the kick off. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Emmanuel Bardel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Xspark Academy's Emmanuel Bardel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 63rd minute of play. With an all-out effort, Ecuador's Emmanuel Bardel threw himself towards the right post 65 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Luis Andino, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Xspark Academy's Emmanuel Bardel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 68th minute of play. Emmanuel Bardel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Xspark Academy's goalkeeper Emmanuel Bardel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 77th minute Henric Sandwall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Xspark Academy's Emmanuel Bardel got control of the ball when Felix Montenegro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Daniel Zorita could shoot a difficult shot in the 88th minute, which Emmanuel Bardel however easily saved by the left post. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodoro Escobar, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Felix Montenegro kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match.
