In the 5th minute, Cristian Sancho made a precise shot to the right of Karl Martin Bell Burnell. Alvinegro de Tupã's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 8th minute, Deng Shu Kuan reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Julio Vera. The goal made the score 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karl Martin Bell Burnell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 20 minutes into the match, Alvinegro de Tupã's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Karl Martin Bell Burnell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alvinegro de Tupã's Karl Martin Bell Burnell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 22nd minute of play. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 23rd minute. Cristian Sancho was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Karl Martin Bell Burnell read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl Martin Bell Burnell having to interfere. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Deng Shu Kuan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Deng Shu Kuan in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. When the match clock showed 32 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Deng Shu Kuan sped through Ecuador's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Julio Vera. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl Martin Bell Burnell having to interfere. Rashad Bartlett struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alvinegro de Tupã. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Deng Shu Kuan was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice moves Daniel Zorita could shoot a difficult shot in the 52nd minute, which Karl Martin Bell Burnell however easily saved by the left post. Alvinegro de Tupã's Lapurdi Jaramillo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Felix Montenegro, made in the 53rd minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Deng Shu Kuan in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alvinegro de Tupã's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Silvinho Meira in the 56th minute. The corner led Alvinegro de Tupã's Deng Shu Kuan to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 59th minute Rashad Bartlett shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rashad Bartlett in the 62nd minute of play. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Deng Shu Kuan in the 66th minute of play. Daniel Zorita's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 67thth minute, Karl Martin Bell Burnell skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Alvinegro de Tupã's defense didn't have a chance, in the 71st minute, when Daniel Zorita scored to the left of an out of position Karl Martin Bell Burnell, making the score, 2-3. 74 minutes into the match, Deng Shu Kuan notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Antonio Arias got a free kick in the 77th minute. Alvinegro de Tupã's Deng Shu Kuan got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 86 minutes into the match, Alvinegro de Tupã's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Karl Martin Bell Burnell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. In the 90th minute, Lisandro Beltxe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Alvinegro de Tupã's Deng Shu Kuan got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Alvinegro de Tupã fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
