Recai Garipbaş could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Alvinegro de Tupã's Recai Garipbaş slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Julio Vera. That made the score 1-1 after 20 minutes of play. Alvinegro de Tupã's Karl Martin Bell Burnell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 23rd minute of play. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Deng Shu Kuan's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Recai Garipbaş sent off a good shot on target. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Deng Shu Kuan, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Karl Martin Bell Burnell came out of the goal and Luis Andino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 72nd minute, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Karl Martin Bell Burnell. Karl Martin Bell Burnell yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. Karl Martin Bell Burnell made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. Lapurdi Jaramillo's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lapurdi Jaramillo helped the player get up and apologised. Lapurdi Jaramillo kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. After 89 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Agustín Saelices. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Recai Garipbaş in the 90th minute of play. 90 minutes into the game, Recai Garipbaş cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-3. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 94th minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
