Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 唐远升 in the 9th minute of play. 10 minutes into the game, Vilo Futbol Club's 唐远升 nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when 唐远升 sent off a good shot on target. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eustaquio Cordareo in the 19th minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and 唐远升 made a kick off. If Stefan Warka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 73 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Alvaro Castel came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vilo Futbol Club were awarded a corner in the 88th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Delmiro Ospin took the corner. Vilo Futbol Club's Stefan Warka got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vilo Futbol Club walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
