Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Daniel Zorita made the kick off and thus started the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicky Bryson got free with Julio Vera in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 9 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nicky Bryson. Jose José hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Beto Montenegro went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After 19 minutes C. A. Pipon Pipon's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. In the 19th minute, Luis Andino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Jannes Ruttens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Cristian Sancho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jannes Ruttens was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. If Beto Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 41 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Justus Lintorf came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Beto Montenegro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. If Beto Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Jannes Ruttens made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. After 53 minutes C. A. Pipon Pipon's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Felix Montes fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jannes Ruttens quite easily take care of the ball. After having played for 54 minutes, Beto Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C. A. Pipon Pipon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Beto Montenegro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Beto Montenegro put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Julio Vera. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. C. A. Pipon Pipon's Jannes Ruttens proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save C. A. Pipon Pipon from getting a goal against them. In the 66th minute, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. After having played for 68 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in C. A. Pipon Pipon's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jannes Ruttens came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 88th minute Beto Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Malcolm McIntosh in the 91st minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The C. A. Pipon Pipon players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
