When Hernán Leandro came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Leon Platense fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hernán Leandro couldn't finish the play. Yu Kun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hernán Leandro in the 25th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaafar Carrillo in the 27th minute of play forced Tio Cosme FC's goalkeeper Yu Kun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Victorino Gonzalez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With 36 minutes on the clock, Mauricio Hitzeder commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 36 minutes into the game, one of Tio Cosme FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 38th minute there was a penalty for Leon Platense. Hernán Leandro stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Yu Kun. 0-2. Hernán Leandro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tio Cosme FC's Yu Kun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dario Hussain in the 45th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Yusuf Yazıcı took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Ruperto Rainerio to make any attempt to save it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The wind increased when Dario Hussain made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Leon Platense's João Francisco Vidal got a free kick in the 50th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yusuf Yazıcı in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ruperto Rainerio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After taking down the ball on Tio Cosme FC's corner Abelardo Asur fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ruperto Rainerio quite easily take care of the ball. Yu Kun made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hernán Leandro in the 56th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Abelardo Asur managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tio Cosme FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Abelardo Asur was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ruperto Rainerio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match clock showed 72 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Yusuf Yazıcı sped through Leon Platense's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ruperto Rainerio. 76 minutes into the match, Leon Platense's goal looked a bit too open when Nereo Fernanco came free, but Ruperto Rainerio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Tio Cosme FC booed when Leon Platense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dario Hussain didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 79th minute of the match, Hernán Leandro tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Yu Kun saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 81 minutes into the game, Tio Cosme FC's Yusuf Yazıcı nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot.
