Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when John-David Lee kicked off to start the match. After 5 played minutes Seclantas AFC got a freekick which was hit by Eleuterio Matteo. Carlos Balendin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 11th minute of play. Agustín Saelices kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when John-David Lee sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, John-David Lee took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Julio Vera to make any attempt to save it. After 22 minutes of play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carlos Balendin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Carlos Balendin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agustín Saelices, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 26thth minute of the game Mckinley Vadnais who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 28th minute of play forced Seclantas AFC's goalkeeper Carlos Balendin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute, Esteve Formerio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers John-David Lee in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. 46 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sigvard Termander. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 57th minute. The corner led Ecuador's Felix Montenegro to a score. 1-2 in the 57th minute. If Mckinley Vadnais had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonardo Oliverio charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leonardo Oliverio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Seclantas AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Oliverio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mckinley Vadnais in the 67th minute of play. In the 67th minute, Mckinley Vadnais ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. If John-David Lee had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mckinley Vadnais charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mckinley Vadnais the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Cristian Sancho hit a great ball. 85 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Sigvard Termander came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th minute Felix Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Balendin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Camilo Gisbert kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
