In the 16thth minute of the game Jaime Pardo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Egg Chasers FC's Dominic Beale was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Raul Venegas made in the 18th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Alan Campos immediately put the ball in play. In the 20th minute, Xavier Zoido left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Paraguay fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edward Preston to make the kick off. A sloppy throw-in by Jose Sanz in the 61st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Egg Chasers FC's Ralf Morcom. Ivan Prats made in the 67th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Jaime Pardo. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Jaime Pardo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paraguay's supporters rose to their feet, but Jaime Pardo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dominic Beale breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Egg Chasers FC's Dave Linkletter got a free kick in the 75th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Paraguay's zone, Bradley Longstaffe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacobo Nores came out of the goal and Bradley Longstaffe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 88th minute, Jose Sanz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Paraguay's Primitivo Escribano got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dominic Beale made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hector Covarrubias in the 93rd minute. When the match was over Paraguay could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Egg Chasers FC throughout the match.
