Tiburones Rojos were awarded a corner in the 21th minute after Cruz de Cristo-Carvalhos's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Frutos Macedo took the corner. With an all-out effort, Tiburones Rojos's Leandro Meireles threw himself towards the right post 26 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Robert Haaland, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Leandro Meireles had great luck who in the 28thth minute grab hold of the ball when Robert Haaland from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Tiburones Rojos's Frutos Macedo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Leandro Meireles in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 36th minute, Tiburones Rojos's Robert Haaland dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 40th match minute, Tiburones Rojos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rogelio Tipi to maneuver through the defense. In the 41st minute Miguel Poças shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferruccio Borrelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Tiburones Rojos getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Rigoberto Araoz hit a great ball. 47 minutes into the match, Miguel Poças had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ferruccio Borrelli. Tiburones Rojos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Miguel Poças was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Leandro Meireles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Haaland in the 54th minute of play. Tiburones Rojos's Robert Haaland got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Tiburones Rojos's Feliciano Sesuldo in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cruz de Cristo-Carvalhos's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Tiburones Rojos's Rogelio Tipi got a free kick in the 61st minute. Ferruccio Borrelli made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Miguel Poças sent off a good shot on target. In the 71stth minute of the game Robert Haaland who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cruz de Cristo-Carvalhos's Leandro Meireles was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 73rd minute, Natalio Quico got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Robert Haaland scored 2-2 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leandro Meireles, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Feliciano Sesuldo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leandro Meireles was relentless in the 77th minute of the game.
