When Son Segura fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dep. Moron's protests and gave Son Segura a yellow card for diving instead. In the 40th minute, Son Segura hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mihkel Aksalu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luz Tejedor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luz Tejedor made a great header on Peru's corner, it was just that Dep. Milagros Fraga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mihkel Aksalu having to interfere. A sloppy throw-in by Son Segura in the 63rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Eliseo Mina. When Julian Murillo came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Peru fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julian Murillo couldn't finish the play. With his leg Mihkel Aksalu managed to avoid a goal in the 70thth minute, when Peru's Julian Murillo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 72nd minute of play forced Dep. Moron's goalkeeper Mihkel Aksalu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
