Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Carlitos Parodi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 4th match minute, Acratas Unidos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnaldo Quin to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Margus Paukson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matthias Vall in the 11th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Felix Montes hit a great ball. Acratas Unidos's Enrique Theobald couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 13th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Ecuador. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Enrique Theobald had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 21 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Matthias Vall came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matthias Vall in the 22nd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matthias Vall in the 22nd minute of play. Matthias Vall did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Julio Vera 23 minutes into the match. 26 minutes into the match, Luis Andino notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Acratas Unidos's Carlitos Parodi. Carlitos Parodi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Carlitos Parodi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 43 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Matthias Vall. 45 minutes into the game, Matthias Vall was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Acratas Unidos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. In the 45th match minute, Acratas Unidos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matthias Vall to maneuver through the defense. Acratas Unidos's Matthias Vall got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half Ecuador were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Matthias Vall made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matthias Vall in the 55th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 55 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Matthias Vall came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristian Sancho scored 2-4 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Carlitos Parodi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 61 minutes, Matthias Vall made it 3-4 with a short kick to the right side. Ecuador's Julio Vera tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Carlitos Parodi made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matthias Vall, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Margus Paukson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Margus Paukson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Margus Paukson, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Enrique Theobald kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlitos Parodi having to interfere. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matthias Vall, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Carlitos Parodi in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 84th minute Matthias Vall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, Acratas Unidos's goalkeeper Carlitos Parodi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Matthias Vall in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Acratas Unidos made a substitution. Ramiro Niva replaced Enrique Theobald. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matthias Vall in the 90th minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, Acratas Unidos's goalkeeper Carlitos Parodi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Margus Paukson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Acratas Unidos's supporters rose to their feet, but Margus Paukson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
