Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Tomas Illescas made the kick off which started today's match. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Jefferson Guedes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gato Morto's supporters rose to their feet, but Jefferson Guedes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gato Morto's Flávio Tróia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Costa in the 7th minute of play. After 7 minutes of play, Venezuela's Patricio Costa made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Flávio Tróia was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Fausto Tajo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugo Terra in the 18th minute of the match. Gato Morto's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tage Stenseth in the 20th minute. In the 23rd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Gaos to maneuver through the defense. Tage Stenseth recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugo Terra in the 27th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sandro Travassos in the 28th minute. Sandro Travassos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. 32 minutes into the match, Hugo Terra had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hugo Terra was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Flávio Tróia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 38th minute of play forced Gato Morto's goalkeeper Flávio Tróia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th match minute, Gato Morto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donato Macedo to maneuver through the defense. Sandro Travassos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Renan Leme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hugo Terra stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match clock showed 52 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Hugo Terra sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. If Hugo Terra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rigoberto Mina charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rigoberto Mina the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 95 minutes into the game, one of Venezuela:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 96th minute there was a penalty for Gato Morto. Tage Stenseth stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. 5-1. There was no doubt that Gato Morto were the better team. Gato Morto's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
