Iurie Floruțiu ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matei Udrescu in the 12th minute of play forced Gaita´s club's goalkeeper Fernando Jaen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 13 minutes into the match, THE CRYSTAL SHIP's goal looked a bit too open when Santiago Gelmiro came free, but Paul Piersic reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 15 minutes into the game, Anselmo Dunixi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gaita´s club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave THE CRYSTAL SHIP the free kick. After 15 played minutes Gaita´s club got a freekick which was hit by Anselmo Dunixi. 19 minutes into the match, Gaita´s club's goal looked a bit too open when Iacob Stanciu came free, but Fernando Jaen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Basarab Balc ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fernando Jaen was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 26 minutes into the match, THE CRYSTAL SHIP's goal looked a bit too open when Urbano Mede came free, but Paul Piersic reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute, Iurie Floruțiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 32nd minute of the match Fausto Mikeldi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paul Piersic showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Fernando Jaen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matei Udrescu in the 33rd minute of play. When Santiago Gelmiro fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gaita´s club's protests and gave Santiago Gelmiro a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of THE CRYSTAL SHIP booed when Gaita´s club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santiago Gelmiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fernando Jaen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iurie Floruțiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 41 played minutes THE CRYSTAL SHIP got a freekick which was hit by Iurie Floruțiu. Grigore Bota fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Jaen having to interfere. If Iacob Stanciu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Santiago Gelmiro hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Santiago Gelmiro to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Santiago Gelmiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paul Piersic was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 55th match minute, THE CRYSTAL SHIP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matei Udrescu to maneuver through the defense. When Victoriano Koldobika came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Gaita´s club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victoriano Koldobika couldn't finish the play. Fernando Jaen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matei Udrescu in the 59th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Gaita´s club's Teodosio Erramun got a free kick in the 64th minute. Paul Piersic made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santiago Gelmiro in the 71st minute of play. In the 74th minute Urbano Mede shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paul Piersic saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Grigore Bota kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match.
