Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Wilson Favoretto took the kick off in the first half of the match. Toninho Trancoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nelio Bombardeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Esquadrão Lusitano booed when SC Bertioga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donato Oliveira didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 11thth minute of the game Marquinhos Meirelles who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Esquadrão Lusitano's Ivan Trindade was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 15 minutes into the game, Nelio Bombardeiro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Toninho Trancoso. Nelio Bombardeiro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Ivan Trindade came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Bertioga's Wilson Favoretto. But to his dismay, Wilson Favoretto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 29th minute, Nelio Bombardeiro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Esquadrão Lusitano fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. António Carvalho hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nelio Bombardeiro to strike the kick off in the second half. After 54 played minutes SC Bertioga got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Alberto Lopes. In the 59th match minute, SC Bertioga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilson Favoretto to maneuver through the defense. Ivan Trindade made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wilson Favoretto in the 62nd minute. Carlos Alberto Lopes kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. When Nelio Bombardeiro came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Esquadrão Lusitano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nelio Bombardeiro couldn't finish the play. 83 minutes into the game, Nelio Bombardeiro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Toninho Trancoso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Nelio Bombardeiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Toninho Trancoso was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. If Nelio Bombardeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 97 minutes, Donato Coutinho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Bertioga and the Esquadrão Lusitano players grew even worse after the yellow card. Donato Coutinho kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match.
