Vinicio Porfiro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 17th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Nick Grech. Templars FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 20 minutes into the game, Arturo Constancio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. TLAMET Y TLASAK 100PRE's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Templars FC the free kick. Lawrence Gonzi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nick Grech showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Everardo Benino in the 24th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Montrel in the 25th minute of play forced Templars FC's goalkeeper Nick Grech to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cosme Piorno made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Lawrence Gonzi sent off a good shot on target. In the 29th minute, Everardo Benino made a precise shot to the right of Nick Grech. Templars FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The supporters of TLAMET Y TLASAK 100PRE booed when Templars FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lawrence Gonzi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nick Grech made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arturo Constancio in the 40th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Rigoberto Cordeal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The TLAMET Y TLASAK 100PRE fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. If Delmiro Estebano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

53 minutes into the match, Arturo Constancio dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Nick Grech, 0-3. In the 57th minute, Manwel Dimech hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 58 played minutes Templars FC got a freekick which was hit by Mark Cuschieri. Vinicio Porfiro hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. When Oliver Friggieri came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Templars FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oliver Friggieri couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Templars FC booed when TLAMET Y TLASAK 100PRE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filomeno Goren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Filomeno Goren hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Cosme Piorno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oliver Friggieri in the 67th minute of play. After 68 minutes TLAMET Y TLASAK 100PRE's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Oliver Friggieri who took care of the corner kick. Keith DeGaetano was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 74th minute, Everardo Benino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nick Grech was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Lawrence Gonzi hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. After 79 played minutes, TLAMET Y TLASAK 100PRE's Leonel Bartoli shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nick Grech came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. Templars FC's Nick Grech proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Templars FC from getting a goal against them. Nick Grech made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Arturo Constancio sent off a good shot on target. Alexander Grech Cumbo charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alexander Grech Cumbo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Templars FC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Alexander Grech Cumbo hit a great ball. When Arturo Constancio came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the TLAMET Y TLASAK 100PRE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arturo Constancio couldn't finish the play. Mark Cuschieri kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match.
