When the match clock showed 16 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Nelio Bombardeiro sped through HEJA ESLÖV's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gabriel Grubb. Valter Pedersson's late challenge caught a Esquadrão Lusitano's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valter Pedersson helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to HEJA ESLÖV getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Valter Pedersson hit a great ball. A throw-in in the 24th minute of the game was made by Pedro Setúbal with Gregório Casado as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After a rather tough play, Esquadrão Lusitano's Emanuel Fagundes got a free kick in the 26th minute. If Nelio Bombardeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Esquadrão Lusitano's zone, Valter Pedersson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivan Trindade came out of the goal and Valter Pedersson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Esquadrão Lusitano's Ivan Trindade proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Esquadrão Lusitano from getting a goal against them. In the 33rd minute of the match HEJA ESLÖV got a corner. Esquadrão Lusitano's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Björn Wallgren ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Björn Wallgren almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Esquadrão Lusitano's Ivan Trindade did a great save. Nelio Bombardeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Gabriel Grubb tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, HEJA ESLÖV's Algot Abrahamsson got a free kick in the 39th minute. Nelio Bombardeiro hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Ivan Trindade made an important save on a dangerous shot by Algot Abrahamsson in the 47th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Algot Abrahamsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Esquadrão Lusitano's Ivan Trindade played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Algot Abrahamsson in the 52nd minute of play. Nicolas Vilar made in the 56th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Nelio Bombardeiro however managed to control. Ivan Trindade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonard Lustig in the 60th minute of play. When Nelio Bombardeiro fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Esquadrão Lusitano's protests and gave Nelio Bombardeiro a yellow card for diving instead. Nelio Bombardeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Nelio Bombardeiro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gabriel Grubb having to make a save. In the 74th match minute, Esquadrão Lusitano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gregório Casado to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leonard Lustig in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ivan Trindade prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Esquadrão Lusitano booed when HEJA ESLÖV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonard Lustig didn't get a good kick on the ball. Björn Wallgren was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 84th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jan-Olof Palm during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, HEJA ESLÖV's Jan-Olof Palm got a free kick in the 87th minute. 94 minutes into the match, Esquadrão Lusitano's goal looked a bit too open when Sverker Persson came free, but Ivan Trindade reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
