Horea Panaitoiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Grubb having to interfere. The supporters of FC Berea booed when HEJA ESLÖV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valter Pedersson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Berea Luca could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Gabriel Grubb made a huge save. Dacian Iurea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Algot Abrahamsson in the 12th minute of play. In the 14th minute HEJA ESLÖV were awarded a corner. Björn Wallgren went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Björn Wallgren got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dacian Iurea quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. HEJA ESLÖV's Gabriel Grubb played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basarab Arotăriței in the 17th minute of play. In the 19th minute Leonard Lustig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dacian Iurea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 25 minutes, Berea Luca mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Berea and the HEJA ESLÖV players grew even worse after the yellow card. Berea Luca kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Gabriel Grubb made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Basarab Arotăriței sent off a good shot on target. Dacian Iurea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Algot Abrahamsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Moise Boacă hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Dacian Iurea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Algot Abrahamsson in the 33rd minute of the match. Gigi Ardeleanu in the 36thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gabriel Grubb, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 40thth minute of the game Basarab Arotăriței who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but HEJA ESLÖV's Gabriel Grubb was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Eric Dărmănescu could shoot a difficult shot in the 46th minute, which Gabriel Grubb however easily saved by the left post. 48 minutes into the match, HEJA ESLÖV's goalkeeper Gabriel Grubb had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Basarab Arotăriței. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

FC Berea made a substitution. Berea Avram replaced Moise Boacă. The wind increased when Basarab Arotăriței made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Berea Avram during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of HEJA ESLÖV booed when FC Berea was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Berea Avram didn't get a good kick on the ball. Berea Luca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Gabriel Grubb tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Berea's Liviu Mihaiu was substituted for Gigi Ardeleanu. Gabriel Grubb came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Berea's Basarab Arotăriței. But to his dismay, Basarab Arotăriței quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. FC Berea's Toader Buzoianu was substituted for Horea Panaitoiu. Dacian Iurea made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Algot Abrahamsson sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the FC Berea defense, Algot Abrahamsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dacian Iurea. The FC Berea fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dacian Iurea should have stopped the shot. After 88 played minutes FC Berea got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Hâldan. Toader Buzoianu hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toader Buzoianu in the 97th minute of play forced HEJA ESLÖV's goalkeeper Gabriel Grubb to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Berea were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
