After 5th play minutes Aldo Felipillo shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Xabel Beloki and just under the crossbar into goal. Rogelio Goyo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baltazar Fonticoba in the 8th minute of the match. Rogelio Goyo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cugat Marines in the 9th minute of play. Xabel Beloki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvano Salvadore in the 10th minute of the match. In the 13th minute, Cugat Marines hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Xabel Beloki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denis Gabon, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Xabel Beloki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvano Salvadore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rogelio Goyo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cugat Marines, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Ruperto Mendez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogelio Goyo having to interfere. Rogelio Goyo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ni Zhou Hong in the 25th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, Patricio Rey Futbol Club's goalkeeper Rogelio Goyo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cugat Marines. Rogelio Goyo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cugat Marines in the 36th minute of play. When ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's Cugat Marines in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Patricio Rey Futbol Club's goalie prevented a goal. Glenn Tipton kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. When Ruperto Mendez came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ruperto Mendez couldn't finish the play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cugat Marines stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Ruperto Mendez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogelio Goyo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rogelio Goyo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruperto Mendez in the 54th minute of play. In the 57th minute, Cesare Prisco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Patricio Rey Futbol Club getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Roberto Txaran hit a great ball. In the 60th minute, Ruperto Mendez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rogelio Goyo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baltazar Fonticoba in the 61st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baltazar Fonticoba in the 63rd minute of play forced Patricio Rey Futbol Club's goalkeeper Rogelio Goyo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO were awarded a corner in the 65th minute after Patricio Rey Futbol Club's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cugat Marines took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Cugat Marines got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rogelio Goyo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 68th minute, Patricio Rey Futbol Club's Silvano Salvadore dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. Rogelio Goyo came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's Baltazar Fonticoba. But to his dismay, Baltazar Fonticoba quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aldo Felipillo during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Aldo Felipillo kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Ni Zhou Hong's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rogelio Goyo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. Glenn Tipton's late challenge caught a Patricio Rey Futbol Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Glenn Tipton helped the player get up and apologised. Glenn Tipton kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. In the 83rd minute of the match, Aldo Felipillo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Xabel Beloki was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Ni Zhou Hong had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Xabel Beloki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvano Salvadore in the 91st minute of the match. 93 minutes into the match, Patricio Rey Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Cugat Marines came free, but Rogelio Goyo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 94 minutes of play, Patricio Rey Futbol Club's Aldo Felipillo made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Xabel Beloki was left in no man's land by his defense there! The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Patricio Rey Futbol Club walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
