With his leg Rogelio Goyo managed to avoid a goal in the 9thth minute, when RomoLerouX UniteD UXX's Eladio Carrión fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 13th minute of the match, Isaac Candina got a very nice opportunity to score, but Rogelio Goyo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 15 played minutes, Patricio Rey Futbol Club's Cesare Prisco shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Kaapro Romo-Leroux came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Patricio Rey Futbol Club reached it. After having played for 16 minutes, Diego Quintianan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RomoLerouX UniteD UXX's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diego Quintianan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rogelio Goyo came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by RomoLerouX UniteD UXX's Diego Quintianan. But to his dismay, Diego Quintianan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 22nd minute, Cesare Prisco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rogelio Goyo made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Diego Quintianan sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Diego Quintianan managed to get in a good position for a shot. RomoLerouX UniteD UXX's supporters rose to their feet, but Diego Quintianan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rogelio Goyo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roberto Txaran in the 29th minute of play forced RomoLerouX UniteD UXX's goalkeeper Kaapro Romo-Leroux to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rogelio Goyo came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by RomoLerouX UniteD UXX's Isaac Candina. But to his dismay, Isaac Candina quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Eladio Carrión received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Rogelio Goyo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 42 minutes into the match, Patricio Rey Futbol Club's goalkeeper Rogelio Goyo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isaac Candina. When the match clock showed 45 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Delgado Licardi sped through Patricio Rey Futbol Club's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rogelio Goyo. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Isaac Candina to make the kick off. Patricio Rey Futbol Club's Rogelio Goyo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaac Candina in the 52nd minute of play. Rogelio Goyo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaac Candina in the 53rd minute of the match. Rogelio Goyo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Delgado Licardi's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Delgado Licardi might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rogelio Goyo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Delgado Licardi ran back to his position shaking his head. Rogelio Goyo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaac Candina in the 71st minute of play. Rogelio Goyo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delgado Licardi, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roberto Txaran got free with Kaapro Romo-Leroux in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
