Freddie Mikaelsson started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes into the match, The Skates's goal looked a bit too open when Eberhardt Næsager came free, but Osvald Albom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Alvin Billberg fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored The Skates's protests and gave Alvin Billberg a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Hønning booed when The Skates was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvin Billberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. 13 minutes into the match, The Skates's goal looked a bit too open when Eberhardt Næsager came free, but Osvald Albom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Samson Erreboe's late challenge caught a The Skates's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Samson Erreboe helped the player get up and apologised. In the 15th match minute, Hønning was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samson Erreboe to maneuver through the defense. When Ulrik Wieder came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Hønning fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ulrik Wieder couldn't finish the play. Folmar Dandanell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harry Larsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Hønning's Marc Haugsted got a free kick in the 21st minute. Osvald Albom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eberhardt Næsager in the 24th minute of play. When Hønning's Eberhardt Næsager in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The Skates's Osvald Albom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eberhardt Næsager in the 36th minute of play. Marc Haugsted fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osvald Albom having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robin Thordorf in the 43rd minute of play forced The Skates's goalkeeper Osvald Albom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute, Eberhardt Næsager reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Osvald Albom. The goal made the score 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eberhardt Næsager was the one to do the kick off. Jan-Olof Fågel charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jan-Olof Fågel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 53rd match minute, The Skates was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan-Olof Fågel to maneuver through the defense. 56 minutes into the match, Robin Thordorf notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of The Skates's Osvald Albom. Osvald Albom was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hønning's Folmar Dandanell proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Hønning from getting a goal against them. The Skates's Osvald Albom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eberhardt Næsager in the 61st minute of play. Osvald Albom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulrik Wieder in the 63rd minute of play. Osvald Albom dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. After having played for 74 minutes, Eberhardt Næsager managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hønning's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eberhardt Næsager was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Ulrik Wieder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Osvald Albom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eberhardt Næsager in the 77th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eberhardt Næsager in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Osvald Albom saved The Skates from getting behind. A hard shot 80 in the game by Freddie Mikaelsson from a close distance when the talented Folmar Dandanell managed to make a qualified save. Hønning's players were relieved. When the match clock showed 80 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Freddie Mikaelsson sped through Hønning's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Folmar Dandanell. Osvald Albom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eberhardt Næsager, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Folmar Dandanell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gert Bammerman in the 89th minute of the match. Eberhardt Næsager sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hønning's Eberhardt Næsager got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 95th minute, Robin Thordorf ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Osvald Albom was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. Hønning walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
