With an all-out effort, KKP Spasione Kocury's Folmar Dandanell threw himself towards the right post 7 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Daniel Olejarz, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Eberhardt Næsager blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mariusz Modrzewski having to make a save. Folmar Dandanell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomasz Gongola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. KKP Spasione Kocury's Mariusz Modrzewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eberhardt Næsager in the 12th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

After some careless play in the Hønning defense, Boleslaw Trynda kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Folmar Dandanell. The Hønning fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Folmar Dandanell should have stopped the shot. Lukasz Turek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute.
