Rogelio Goyo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harald Kullander, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Carlos Benvide received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Daniel Lundin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Roberto Txaran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. SE7EN's Daniel Lundin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save SE7EN from getting a goal against them. In the 46th match minute, Patricio Rey Futbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saturnino Harri to maneuver through the defense. Cesare Prisco lost his temper 47 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carlos Benvide to strike the kick off in the second half. Jens-Åke Petersson was extremely unlucky when he, in the 53rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Through an outstanding action, after 61 minutes, Rogelio Goyo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 62 minutes into the match, Patricio Rey Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Hampus Gunnarsson came free, but Rogelio Goyo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The SE7EN fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Rogelio Goyo made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Harald Kullander sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mikael Spets in the 84th minute of play forced Patricio Rey Futbol Club's goalkeeper Rogelio Goyo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rogelio Goyo was a little too slow when Harald Kullander got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 91st minute. The score was now 1-3. After 95 played minutes Patricio Rey Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Roberto Txaran. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Harald Kullander managed to get in a good position for a shot. SE7EN's supporters rose to their feet, but Harald Kullander was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rogelio Goyo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
