With an all-out effort, Guiñazú FC's Gustaf Olofsson threw himself towards the right post 3 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bonifacio Sugoi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Eric Boberg took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leonides Sedeni. Leonides Sedeni dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 12 minutes into the match, Guiñazú FC's goal looked a bit too open when Leo Pihlwall came free, but Leonides Sedeni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thomas Åhlberg took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leonides Sedeni. Leonides Sedeni dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. If Leo Pihlwall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Guiñazú FC's Felipe Salvino got a free kick in the 19th minute. After 20 minutes of play, Wyoming Cowboys's Leo Pihlwall made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leonides Sedeni was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 23rd minute Leo Pihlwall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonides Sedeni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 27 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Leo Pihlwall sped through Guiñazú FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Leonides Sedeni. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leo Pihlwall in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leonides Sedeni saved Guiñazú FC from getting behind. 32 minutes into the game, Wyoming Cowboys's Anton Finnman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leonides Sedeni made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. Leonides Sedeni stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leo Pihlwall's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Leonides Sedeni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leo Pihlwall in the 38th minute of play. The supporters of Wyoming Cowboys booed when Guiñazú FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felipe Salvino didn't get a good kick on the ball. 42 minutes into the game, Wyoming Cowboys's Eric Boberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leonides Sedeni made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. Guiñazú FC's Leonides Sedeni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eric Boberg in the 46th minute of play. The Wyoming Cowboys fans' excitement grew in the 47th match minute when Wyoming Cowboys's Leo Pihlwall looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-8 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Felipe Salvino was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Guiñazú FC's Gavino Su got a free kick in the 52nd minute. After 54 minutes, Bo Gadd mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Wyoming Cowboys and the Guiñazú FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Wyoming Cowboys getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Bo Gadd hit a great ball. Wyoming Cowboys's Kim Ekman was substituted for Leo Pihlwall. In the 58th minute, Everardo Izel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 60 minutes into the game, Kim Ekman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-9. Leonides Sedeni was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Leonides Sedeni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anton Finnman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kim Ekman got free with Leonides Sedeni in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Guiñazú FC's Leonides Sedeni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anton Finnman in the 72nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Urbano Calvino in the 73rd minute of play forced Wyoming Cowboys's goalkeeper Gustaf Olofsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 74th minute, Kim Ekman reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Leonides Sedeni. The goal made the score 0-10. The crowd rose to their feet as Thomas Åhlberg kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Leonides Sedeni. That made the score 0-11 in the 80 minute of play. After 83 minutes of play, Wyoming Cowboys's Thomas Åhlberg made it 0-12 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leonides Sedeni was left in no man's land by his defense there! Anton Finnman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonides Sedeni having to interfere. After 88 played minutes Guiñazú FC got a freekick which was hit by Urbano Calvino. Leonides Sedeni made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kim Ekman in the 90th minute. Leonides Sedeni was a little too slow when Kim Ekman got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 92nd minute. The score was now 0-13. Leonides Sedeni came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Wyoming Cowboys's Eric Boberg. But to his dismay, Eric Boberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-14.
