Anton Finnman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jens-Ola Lund having to interfere. Eric Boberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Thomas Åhlberg fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wyoming Cowboys's protests and gave Thomas Åhlberg a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Hedling in the 72nd minute of play forced Wyoming Cowboys's goalkeeper Gustaf Olofsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gustaf Olofsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Hedling in the 81st minute of play. In the 84th minute, Douglas Stenkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leo Pihlwall got free with Jens-Ola Lund in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 88 minutes into the match, The Skates's goal looked a bit too open when Leo Pihlwall came free, but Jens-Ola Lund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anton Finnman in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jens-Ola Lund prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Anton Finnman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jens-Ola Lund was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Wyoming Cowboys eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
