Cornelio Asteri came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Marcos Siqueira. But to his dismay, Marcos Siqueira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Guansa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fabrício Vergílio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Jens-Ove Malm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 31 minutes into the game, Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Marcos Siqueira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cornelio Asteri made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. Disappointed in the 0-9 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dario Lauro to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Jens-Ove Malm notched a goal, 0-10, to the right of Guansa's Cornelio Asteri. Cornelio Asteri was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cornelio Asteri didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jens-Ove Malm went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-11 was the resulting score. Marcos Siqueira scored 0-12 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cornelio Asteri, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jens-Ove Malm took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cornelio Asteri. Cornelio Asteri dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-13. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ made a substitution. Ixona Mascarañas replaced Lauro Arce. 78 minutes into the match, Tolgahan Onatkan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cornelio Asteri. Guansa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tolgahan Onatkan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-14. Jens-Ove Malm could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Cornelio Asteri made a huge save. A collision led to Guansa getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Serafino Ostots hit a great ball. Cornelio Asteri was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jens-Ove Malm showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-15 in the 86 minute of play. Cornelio Asteri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tolgahan Onatkan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tolgahan Onatkan received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cornelio Asteri came out and tried to block the shot, but Tolgahan Onatkan slotted it home off the left post making it 0-16 in the 90th minute. Jens-Ove Malm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cornelio Asteri having to interfere. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
