Pastor Gitano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Armindo Salgado made a huge save. VB-Team's Armindo Salgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Şakir Aydınoğlu in the 9th minute of play. Femke Bol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shao Kun Yuan, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. 15 minutes into the match, Figueira SC FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Caeiro came free, but Femke Bol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute, Luís Caeiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Femke Bol was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The Figueira SC FSCMZ fans' excitement grew in the 26th match minute when Figueira SC FSCMZ's Yuri Reis looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 28th minute, Şakir Aydınoğlu fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Armindo Salgado, passed just outside the right post. Yuri Reis succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 31st playminute. 36 minutes into the match, VB-Team's goal looked a bit too open when Şakir Aydınoğlu came free, but Armindo Salgado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. VB-Team's Armindo Salgado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save VB-Team from getting a goal against them. Femke Bol came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by VB-Team's Luís Caeiro. But to his dismay, Luís Caeiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Luís Caeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Femke Bol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joaquim de Barros to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Figueira SC FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Caeiro came free, but Femke Bol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 53 minutes into the game, VB-Team's Luís Caeiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. After a rather tough play, Figueira SC FSCMZ's Bernhard Kuinke got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Femke Bol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gervásio Severiano, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. 79 minutes into the match, Figueira SC FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquim de Barros came free, but Femke Bol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Armindo Salgado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cássio Guimarães, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Joaquim de Barros took a quick shot and it went in 2-4 without a chance for Femke Bol to make any attempt to save it. In the 92nd minute, Gil Pirani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. VB-Team had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
