VB-Team's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Luís Caeiro put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Branislav Velchevski. Gervásio Severiano received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Branislav Velchevski came out and tried to block the shot, but Gervásio Severiano slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 27th minute. In the 38th minute Olle Snell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armindo Salgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, VB-Team's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Dalmu came free, but Armindo Salgado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Branislav Velchevski was out of position in the 43 minute of play, and Luís Caeiro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Luís Caeiro really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA made a substitution. André Monclús replaced Elpidio Francis. The wind increased when Joaquim de Barros made the kick off in the second half. With his leg Armindo Salgado managed to avoid a goal in the 61stth minute, when ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's André Monclús fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Branislav Velchevski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Caeiro in the 62nd minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the VB-Team players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
