If Saul Montrel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nestor Cortez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gervásio Severiano in the 10th minute of play. A hard shot 11 in the game by Prospero Perico from a close distance when the talented Armindo Salgado managed to make a qualified save. VB-Team's players were relieved. Armindo Salgado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saul Montrel in the 13th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquim de Barros in the 14th minute of play forced Lobos de Carelia's goalkeeper Nestor Cortez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16thth minute of the game Pavao Zadro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but VB-Team's Armindo Salgado was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 19th minute, Saul Montrel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 21 minutes into the match, Lobos de Carelia's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Caeiro came free, but Nestor Cortez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lobos de Carelia's Nestor Cortez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gervásio Severiano in the 23rd minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Lobos de Carelia's goal looked a bit too open when Shao Kun Yuan came free, but Nestor Cortez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. VB-Team's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Xu Ran Zhen ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Saul Montrel almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but VB-Team's Armindo Salgado did a great save. Joaquim de Barros could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Nestor Cortez made a huge save. Lobos de Carelia's Saul Montrel got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nestor Cortez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquim de Barros, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Shao Kun Yuan hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. In the 64th minute, Saul Montrel made a precise shot to the right of Armindo Salgado. VB-Team's Traian Hăvârneanu was substituted for Joaquim de Barros. Lobos de Carelia's Vladimiro Millano was substituted for Cosme Bikendi. In the 75th match minute, Lobos de Carelia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cleto Confesor to maneuver through the defense. VB-Team's Traian Hăvârneanu got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Armindo Salgado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saul Montrel in the 77th minute of play. After 78 minutes, Shao Kun Yuan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the VB-Team and the Lobos de Carelia players grew even worse after the yellow card. Armindo Salgado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristobal Lia in the 79th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Traian Hăvârneanu got free with Nestor Cortez in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nestor Cortez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gervásio Severiano went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, VB-Team's Yu Ke Hong got a free kick in the 85th minute. Nestor Cortez made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Gervásio Severiano sent off a good shot on target. Yu Ke Hong hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prospero Perico in the 91st minute of play forced VB-Team's goalkeeper Armindo Salgado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 93rd minute, Cristobal Lia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Armindo Salgado was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in VB-Team's zone, Cristobal Lia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Armindo Salgado came out of the goal and Cristobal Lia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
