In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Konurbano Atletico's goalkeeper Teobaldo Demario, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cristian Ronaldo might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Frederico Madureira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristian Ronaldo ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 13th minute Bart Claveau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teobaldo Demario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 16 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mochila FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fernan Machado was slow to take the kick. During this time Konurbano Atletico's players had a chance to rest. In the 17th match minute, Konurbano Atletico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrzej Charamut to maneuver through the defense. If Cristian Ronaldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 24 minutes into the game, Cristian Ronaldo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Frederico Madureira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 28 minutes into the game, Narcis Hurezeanu threw the ball into play from the sideline. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bart Claveau stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Sílvio Laureano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mochila FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Konurbano Atletico the free kick. Severiano Tiadoro hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Mochila FC's Frederico Madureira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Ronaldo in the 57th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Konurbano Atletico's goal looked a bit too open when Bart Claveau came free, but Teobaldo Demario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Konurbano Atletico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Ronaldo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Teobaldo Demario showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bart Claveau, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Cristian Ronaldo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 69thth minute tested the skills of Frederico Madureira when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of Konurbano Atletico booed when Mochila FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sílvio Laureano didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 74thth minute of the game Cristian Ronaldo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mochila FC's Frederico Madureira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bart Claveau in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Teobaldo Demario prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cristian Ronaldo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Frederico Madureira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. Prospero Perutxo struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Frederico Madureira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Konurbano Atletico. When the final whistle sounded Konurbano Atletico left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Mochila FC.
