The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Joaquim Paredes managed to get in a good position for a shot. After 8 minutes of play, Machados FC V2's Joaquim Paredes made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. David Rotariu was left in no man's land by his defense there! David Rotariu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquim Paredes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Machados FC V2 booed when PoWer SC 2K5 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bayezit Tecmil didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 19th match minute, Machados FC V2 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Grzegorz Piesciuk to maneuver through the defense. After 20 played minutes PoWer SC 2K5 got a freekick which was hit by Bayezit Tecmil. Joaquim Paredes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Rotariu having to interfere. After 28 played minutes PoWer SC 2K5 got a freekick which was hit by Bayezit Tecmil. Rodrigo Lima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrick Middendorf in the 30th minute of the match. In the 32nd match minute, PoWer SC 2K5 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Falko Wirtz to maneuver through the defense. 33 minutes into the match, PoWer SC 2K5's goalkeeper David Rotariu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joaquim Paredes. Leroy Kluttig hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Patrick Middendorf in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rodrigo Lima saved Machados FC V2 from getting behind. After having played for 42 minutes, Grzegorz Piesciuk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Machados FC V2's supporters crossed their fingers, but Grzegorz Piesciuk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joaquim Paredes in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck David Rotariu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 57 minutes had been played when some careless play by PoWer SC 2K5's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Pascoal Espírito Santo was slow to take the kick. During this time Machados FC V2's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Pascoal Espírito Santo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but PoWer SC 2K5's David Rotariu did a great save. PoWer SC 2K5's David Rotariu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquim Paredes in the 59th minute of play. 63 minutes had been played when some careless play by PoWer SC 2K5's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Pascoal Espírito Santo was slow to take the kick. During this time Machados FC V2's players had a chance to rest. A collision led to Machados FC V2 getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Brin Jeromen hit a great ball. Machados FC V2 made a substitution. António Varanda replaced Joaquim Paredes. Machados FC V2's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Pascoal Espírito Santo in the 70th minute. After taking down the ball on Machados FC V2's corner Pascoal Espírito Santo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and David Rotariu quite easily take care of the ball. With a little luck, Machados FC V2's Rodrigo Lima got control of the ball when Falko Wirtz tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of PoWer SC 2K5 booed when Machados FC V2 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brin Jeromen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Falko Wirtz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Rodrigo Lima made a huge save. A throw-in in the 91st minute of the game was made by Bayezit Tecmil with Patrick Middendorf as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 92nd minute Falko Wirtz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo Lima saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. António Varanda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. David Rotariu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Machados FC V2 were victorious despite being under pressure from PoWer SC 2K5 for much of the match.
