Figueira SC FSCMZ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marcos Siqueira ran over to the corner to take the kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pastor Gitano in the 19th minute of play forced Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's goalkeeper Amauri Félix to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jens-Ove Malm in the 22nd minute of play forced Figueira SC FSCMZ's goalkeeper Femke Bol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Amauri Félix proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Rio Verde F.C CIMZ from getting a goal against them. In the 38th minute Figueira SC FSCMZ were awarded a corner. Malin Koshkov went to the cornerflag to take it. Pastor Gitano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amauri Félix having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Figueira SC FSCMZ's Dadá Macedo got a free kick in the 44th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The supporters of Rio Verde F.C CIMZ booed when Figueira SC FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cássio Guimarães didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jens-Ove Malm in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Femke Bol prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 87 minutes into the match, Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Lovro Gotovina came free, but Amauri Félix reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dadá Macedo got a throw-in 89 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Lovro Gotovina. Femke Bol came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Jens-Ove Malm. But to his dismay, Jens-Ove Malm quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3.
