Luis Andino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Giuseppe Silveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 13th minute of the match. Tudor Ponor's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 14thth minute, Julio Vera skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Craques fc's Marian Mincu got a free kick in the 15th minute. Giuseppe Silveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 18th minute of play. Deportivo Craques fc's Giuseppe Silveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 19th minute of play. Giuseppe Silveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 24th minute of play forced Deportivo Craques fc's goalkeeper Giuseppe Silveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Deportivo Craques fc's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Giuseppe Silveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. Giuseppe Silveira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Sancho went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Radomil Zbydniowski kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Deportivo Craques fc's Giuseppe Silveira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo Craques fc from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Craques fc's Dario Acosta got a free kick in the 59th minute. Felix Montes charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ediberto Sampaio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ediberto Sampaio, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. 90 minutes into the match, Deportivo Craques fc's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Giuseppe Silveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jimeno Urritz during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Deportivo Craques fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilvan Porto didn't get a good kick on the ball.
