Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Mario Fernandino started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Mario Fernandino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Gil Carioca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roger Mesquita blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Camilo Freixa having to make a save. Eduardo Fontirroig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Gil Carioca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Nordestão Futebol Clube's Antônio Tinoco got a free kick in the 10th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roger Mesquita in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Camilo Freixa saved Bolivia from getting behind. After 26 played minutes Bolivia got a freekick which was hit by Ismael Tejedor. Eduardo Fontirroig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Alfonso de la Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 35 minutes into the match, Nordestão Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Mario Fernandino came free, but Gil Carioca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eduardo Fontirroig's late challenge caught a Nordestão Futebol Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eduardo Fontirroig helped the player get up and apologised. After 36 played minutes Bolivia got a freekick which was hit by Eduardo Fontirroig. Alfonso de la Cruz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gil Carioca having to interfere.

The wind increased when Roger Mesquita made the kick off in the second half. Roger Mesquita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 57 minutes into the match, Nordestão Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Gil Carioca had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mario Fernandino. 63 minutes into the match, Bolivia's Eduardo Fontirroig sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gil Carioca narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Silvinho Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Freixa having to interfere. Julio Chicote who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 73rdth minute tested the skills of Gil Carioca when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a little luck, Nordestão Futebol Clube's Gil Carioca got control of the ball when Mario Fernandino tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Silvinho Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Camilo Freixa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roger Mesquita in the 82nd minute of play. Silvinho Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Bolivia supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Bolivia would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
