In the 3rdth minute of the game Luiz Guilherme Varela who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 8th minute, Luiz Guilherme Varela made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. 14 minutes into the game, Luiz Guilherme Varela cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luiz Guilherme Varela's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Luiz Guilherme Varela reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. The goal made the score 3-0. 27 minutes into the match, Bandelocos's Luiz Guilherme Varela sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 28th minute of the match Bandelocos got a corner. Venezuela's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Billy Dowdall ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Bandelocos's Billy Dowdall to fire away a dangerous shot which Jonathan Ferrant despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Nilson do Vale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 33rd minute Venezuela were awarded a corner. Tomas Illescas went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Bandelocos's goalie and right to Patricio Costa. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Bandelocos's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Nilson do Vale didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Venezuela's Tomas Illescas shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Venezuela's defense didn't have a chance, in the 42nd minute, when Luiz Guilherme Varela scored to the left of an out of position Jonathan Ferrant, making the score, 4-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. After 55 minutes, Luiz Guilherme Varela made it 5-1 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 64 minutes into the game, Salvador Gisbert threw the ball into play from the sideline. Bandelocos's Ezequiel Velasco quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 65th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nilson do Vale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Natã dos Santos charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Natã dos Santos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 66th match minute, Bandelocos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Natã dos Santos to maneuver through the defense. Alex Chicote made in the 69th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Patricio Costa immediately put the ball in play. Tomas Illescas kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. In the 82nd minute, Claudinei Nascimento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 83 minutes into the match, Bandelocos's goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Costa came free, but Nilson do Vale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nilson do Vale made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 85th minute. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
