Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Pedro Freitas kicked off to start the match. After having played for 4 minutes, Pedro Freitas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Uberlandia-DMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedro Freitas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Pardo in the 6th minute of play forced Uberlandia-DMZ's goalkeeper Zé Augusto Duarte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedro Freitas did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Jacobo Nores 9 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristo Videl in the 13th minute of play forced Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Jaime Pardo put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Zé Augusto Duarte. Jacobo Nores was a little too slow when Pedro Freitas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 31st minute. The score was now 2-1. In the 34thth minute of the game Pedro Freitas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Paraguay's Jacobo Nores was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Paraguay getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Alan Campos hit a great ball. Xavier Zoido kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. In the 41st minute Cristo Videl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Nores saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jacobo Nores was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Pedro Freitas showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 42 minute of play. When Cristo Videl fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Uberlandia-DMZ's protests and gave Cristo Videl a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Paraguay booed when Uberlandia-DMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristo Videl didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jaime Pardo made a kick off. Alan Campos kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Pedro Freitas took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jacobo Nores. Jacobo Nores dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Uberlandia-DMZ's Cristo Videl got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jacobo Nores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristo Videl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jaime Pardo was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 72nd minute. Paraguay's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Jacobo Nores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Freitas in the 74th minute of the match. 74 minutes into the match, Pedro Freitas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jacobo Nores. Paraguay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pedro Freitas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. Paraguay's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
