Teppo Kallioniemi might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Teppo Kallioniemi ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd rose to their feet as Galand FC's Dorel Crivoi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 2-0 after 18 minutes of play. Salomo Laukka recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Paavali Paatelainen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 23rd minute of the match. 25 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Salomo Laukka. In the 76th minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Galand FC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Veikko Kärki hit a great ball. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Patricio Costa received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Paavali Paatelainen came out and tried to block the shot, but Patricio Costa slotted it home off the left post making it 4-1 in the 94th minute. There was no doubt that Galand FC were the better team. Galand FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
