In the 8th minute Jarl Tholsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 11 minutes, Lautaro Mancebo made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Linea 174 Ramal Castillo's Zeledon Quintin tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Zeledon Quintin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lautaro Mancebo went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Evaristo Marz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jarl Tholsson in the 21st minute of play. Donato Gustau could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. Luca Rouco's late challenge caught a Linea 174 Ramal Castillo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zeledon Quintin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 34th minute of the match. Zeledon Quintin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luca Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Luca Zorita's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zeledon Quintin was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Zeledon Quintin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 43rd minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. When the match was over Mexico could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Linea 174 Ramal Castillo throughout the match.
