Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Zorita got the match started through his kick off. Tiburones Rojos's Ferruccio Borrelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 4th minute of play. In the 8th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferruccio Borrelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ferruccio Borrelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 12th minute of play. After 17 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Felix Montenegro. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Ferruccio Borrelli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Through an outstanding action, after 23 minutes, Julio Vera successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferruccio Borrelli having to interfere. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Tiburones Rojos's Feliciano Sesuldo. But to his dismay, Feliciano Sesuldo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Ferruccio Borrelli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Cristian Sancho hit a great ball. In the 45th minute of the match Frutos Macedo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Vera showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.

In the 57thth minute of the game Feliciano Sesuldo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Ferruccio Borrelli made a huge save. An unexpected shot in the 61st minute by Cristian Sancho got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ferruccio Borrelli came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Luis Andino. But to his dismay, Luis Andino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Haaland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 80 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Robert Haaland came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 82 minutes into the game, Feliciano Sesuldo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tiburones Rojos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. After a rather tough play, Tiburones Rojos's Feliciano Sesuldo got a free kick in the 82nd minute. In the 83rd match minute, Tiburones Rojos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Feliciano Sesuldo to maneuver through the defense. If Natalio Quico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Ecuador players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
